Craftsman Backpack Tool Set

A green canvas backpack with eight tools in it, and a drill that really spins. The drill turns clockwise and counter-clockwise, so it drives the bolts into the planks and backs them out again.

Why kids keep playing with it

• The bolts and the planks work. A bolt goes through a hole and a nut holds it, so what a child builds stays together.
• The drill runs both ways. Forward to fix, backward to undo. That is the first real idea in the set.
• It is a backpack, not a box. The tools sit in loops on the front and the child wears the set to the job.
• Eight tools, eight jobs. The saw, the level and the square are not decoration. Each one does something different.

What’s in the box — 26 pieces

• 1 canvas backpack with tool loops
• 1 electric drill that turns both ways
• 3 drill bits: one fitted, two spare
• 7 hand tools: hammer, saw, adjustable wrench, pliers, screwdriver, spirit level and square
• 4 nails
• 4 bolts and 4 nuts
• 2 build planks with holes

Good to know

• Recommended age: 3 and up
• The drill runs on 2 AA batteries, not included.
